As of October 2026, the gyms in San Francisco whose own websites list childcare are Presidio Community YMCA and Stonestown Family YMCA (YKids, ages 3 months–10 years, included with household memberships), three MNT Pilates studios (Marina, Inner Richmond and Mission Rock, $15 per child) and the PowerPlaySF strength studio. None of the city’s four 24 Hour Fitness clubs, Equinox’s SF clubs, or Bay Club’s SF clubs list childcare.

Which Bay Area gyms have free childcare?

YMCA of Silicon Valley Kids’ Club is free with a family membership at nine branches; YMCA of Greater San Francisco YKids is included with household memberships at four branches; Bay Club childcare is complimentary for children on Couple, Family, Club West or Shared memberships at six Bay Area clubs.

Which Bay Area gym childcare takes the youngest babies?

Forma Gym Walnut Creek (Kidzville) and Oakwood Athletic Club in Lafayette take babies from 6 weeks. YMCA of Silicon Valley Kids’ Club and Lakeridge Athletic Club in El Sobrante start at 2 months, YMCA of Greater San Francisco YKids and Life Time Kids Academy at 3 months, Equinox Kids Club at 4 months, and Bay Club at 6 months.

Is there a gym with childcare in Oakland or Berkeley?

In Oakland, yes: Oakland Hills Tennis Club runs babysitting for kids 5 and under ($2.50 an hour), and The Bar Method Oakland – Lakeshore has Club Bar Jr. during some classes. In Berkeley we haven’t found one: the Berkeley YMCA and The Bar Method Berkeley don’t list childcare on their sites.
